Infrared cameras are essential equipment for a mold Assessment

What to expect of a mold inspection.

Your mold inspection should take several hours. Mold assessors must check under furniture, behind, inside drawers and cabinets, any place that is accessible. Mold assessors (inspectors) should not open walls or disturb visible suspected mold unless the area is "contained". Mold contamination should never be spread to other areas of the structure because of the mold inspection.

Leaks from above in a condo are out the homeowners control but can be a source of your mold growth. Again, people need to understand that the source of moisture for any mold problem needs to be identified.

Your Ft Myers Mold Assessor/ Inspector should be a Certified Indoor Environmentalist and MUST be licensed by the state of Florida. The CIE has proven experience and is able to write cleanup protocols for your mold problem.

A Lee County business tax receipt (occupational license) is also required.
